Hi Dun,
How are you? Are you still at PZC?
In one conversation you asked what my friend’s son thought of Vietnam in comparison to the other Asian countries he has lived in. He was living and teaching in Saigon, and found it difficult to make friends, thought the society quite insular and suspicious of outsiders. He is now living and teaching in Bangkok, and likes Thailand much better. Of course, he met a Thai woman on a hiking trip in Bali, and with this girlfriend has a way into the society, which may help.
It was good to meet you and practice with you a while. I’m bookmarking your blog with the insightful entries and poetry. Thank you. Susan Lee
